Bonds Expresses More Adoration for Himself

Bonds likes his numbers better than Babe Ruth

I bet he does.

Asked if he would consider himself better than Ruth if he vaults ahead of the New York Yankees legend for second place on the all-time home run list, Bonds said: "I don't know yet, but the numbers speak for themselves."

Asked if it was hard to listen to the catcalls, Bonds said, "Dodgers Stadium is worse than here. This was nothing. LA beats them.

"It has been going on since 2003. You don't have a choice (but to hear it).

"They are supposed to be mature people but they have to look at themselves and their own children. A lot of them bring kids and say lot of things in front of their kids. If that's how you want your own children to be raised that's your problem."

I wonder if they should be bringing their children to watch an illegal drug user make lots of cash. Is that any way to raise children?

Asked Sunday that if is innocent of using steroids why didn't he just sue when the first accuser stepped forward, the often surly Bonds replied: "Are we on a steroid conversation or a baseball conversation?"

I take door number one. Answer the stinking question and they might go away.
