Democrats for Illegal Immigration

I’ve been fairly hard on turncoat Republicans in the last few days. But let’s not forget that Democrats overwhelmingly favor complete and total amnesty for illegal immigrants, and are using the same old tactics of guilt, class warfare and race baiting to get what they want.

"This amendment is racist. I think it's directed basically to people who speak Spanish" – Harry Reid (TSW note: Spanish isn't a race. We have nothing at all against Spain)

"Comprehensive immigration reform cannot succeed without a plan to bring the undocumented out of the shadows and offer them a path to citizenship, after they pay a substantial fine and back taxes, learn English, satisfy a work requirement, and pass a background check." – Barack Obama (TSW note: This statement alone is insignificant. I only include it because Obama was able to use five of my illegal immigration catch phrases in one sentence. See Wednesday’s post - Immigration Catch Phrases)

"A wave of anti-American sentiment is already sweeping across Latin America, and a deployment of military forces to the U.S.-Mexico border will only fuel these views." -- Rep. Silvestre Reyes, D-Texas (Note: Lets appease Chavez and that clown from Bolivia)

Warning: You may laugh yourself to death upon reading the following

"So is making this political statement in the Inhofe amendment so important that we wouldn't want to provide safety for those using the Potomac River?" -- Dick Durbin (Note: Durbin had no comment regarding the Rio Grande.)

"We all know that millions of undocumented immigrants pay Social Security and Medicare taxes for years and sometimes decades while they work to contribute to our economy" – John McCain (Note: Whoops, my bad)
